Boy, 13, allegedly shot by his 10 year old friend

Police are investigating a shooting at Likpe Kukrantumi in the Volta Region where a 13 year old boy met his untimely death after his 10 year old friend allegedl

y fired a gun at him.

Hohoe Divisional Commander,  ACP Joseph  Antwi-Gyewu told Joy News the gun fired by the 10-year-old boy belongs to the father of the deceased.

Antwi-Gyewu said the two boys had closed from school and were watching television, the 13-year-old boy later left the room to pick mangoes.

Police say the 10-year-old boy came out of the room with a locally manufactured gun and pulled the trigger, the 13-year-old boy died shortly after.

“The deceased's father has also been arrested because he should have not hid the gun in the room,” ACP Antwi-Gyewu said.
