Shata Wale deserved VGMA nomination – Gospel artiste

Gospel musician, Mclerk has give out suggestions that Hip Hop singer, Shatta Wale deserved to be nominated in the 2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

According to him, the Hip Hop musician needed

To him, this tells of how ‘unprofessional’ and ‘selfish’ the VGMA board and also further tells of how the board has over the years been selecting only artiste they admire for the prestigious awards in the country.



"There had been several occasions the board have been consistent in nominating few particular favorite artiste at same categories. It’s somehow funny to see certain artiste getting nominated every year meanwhile no one knows the kind of songs they released at that moment…they are simply being partial…,” he said.

Despite submitting his songs for nomination in the upcoming VGMA, the musician had his works dropped due to the rivalry between Charter House and him.

to be nominated for every category he filed but said the board of the VGMA has their impartiality compromised when they allowed the rivalry between them and the musician override the merits of the works he presented to them.
